Pump going there?

The seawater pump finally changed from an electric pump to a belt drive. The biggest problem was where to place it, in the end suitable and the only such place was found under the charger. To do that, I had to make a mounting piece that I bolted to the front mounting bracket of the engine. The attachment itself had to think for a moment about what it should look like. This is how it turned out:

Launch once again quite late

Launch was - again - just before midsummer. The original planned date was much earlier….

New plates installed

The new bilge top plates are getting welded to place and one critical work starts to be ready, at least almost since some paint is of course needed on top of Zinga.

Varnished

All four cans of varnish went to the right place = Ariadne.

Since the power line had a thrust bearing on the propeller shaft, I decided to make a hatch to the bottom of the cockpit.

I made the new bilge top plates from steel plate and L size steel. They stayed well straight since I did not weld everything in one go.

Bilge got ventilated

After tidying up, there was about 70cm on both sides, ie two arches empty, height about 15cm.

These were removed

All thruhull fittings and valves were replaced to Truedesign products and pipes/hoses replaced as well
