At the blog side the stories start from year 2016, as in the stories.

Here you also find a great story of the sailing from Hamburg to Finland.
Ariadne summer 2019
Ariadne floats finally
Last fall, or rather, when I was heading towards the end of last year’s sailing season,
Spring 2019, slow it is
In the early spring, the enthusiasm and plan to get a boat and maybe even both launched into the water went down at the latest when I generated for myself approx. two-week US trip in May.
Home harbour
Arrival to home harbour
Tried to squeeze to own place, which had same width Degerö 36 last year. After a lot of power and scratching the side of the hull I was forced to decide that it wont fit. Luckily last summers place was free.
Some sh sails ordered
Almost… new main sail
Ordered a new (used) main sail, size 33m2, and two genoas (used as well), sizes 46m2 and 26m2.
Water pump and glow plugs
Pump change
Ordered a seawater pump, some additional parts and quick glow plugs.
OM636 running
Engine runs
Engine serviced yesterday. The oilfilter is of a washable type. I opened it and since it looked like new I decided not to wash it. Changed oil, new is 15W-40 mineral oli which should be ok for this kind of a engine.
Dismantling winch
Winch dismantling
Dismantled the winch on the rear deck. It was totally freezed last summer and hardly rotated when I tried to use it.
Varnishing mast
Mast was moved to the pier and got some layers of varnsih. Should remove all the varnish and start from scratch but this year no time for that.
